Scientific Scope

The workshop aims to promote cooperation among leading national and international researchers – both theorists and experimentalists – working on pulses, turbulence, and extreme waves in nonlinear optical fibers.

Call for Abstracts

We welcome contributed talks for the workshop. Please prepare a short abstract (max. 300 words, plain text) for a contributed presentation on any of the topics listed above.

Title and abstracts must be submitted using the registration form (see below).

Notification of acceptance: May 10, 2026

Each participant (speaker or conference attendee) is requested to register online.

The registration will open soon.

Workshop Fee

We will charge all attendees a registration fee of 120 EUR for participation in the workshop.

After receiving the confirmation of your registration, please transfer the conference fee to the bank account provided in the e-mail.

Please note that, due to financial reasons, we can only accept payments via bank transfer. Cash payments at registration are no longer permitted.

  • The Weierstrass Institute for Applied Analysis and Stochastics (WIAS) is located in the central district Berlin-Mitte.
    The workshop will take place in the Erhard-Schmidt lecture room (ground floor).

  • Nearby subway stations are "Hausvogteiplatz" (line U2), "Museumsinsel" (line U5) and "Stadtmitte" (line U2 & U6).
