The aim of the project is to prepare a spin-off in connection with an innovative industrial software for microelectronic simulations. The application field is the design phase of the development process of semiconductors to estimate the potential of new construction elements. Particularly, challenging construction elements of power electronics and special semiconductor detectors are considered.
The project is based on results reached in the research field of numerical semiconductor simulation and on Oskar3, an innovative software developed for these simulations that will be extended in this project from a special scientific program into a commercial software.
