Abstract

This article describes the methodology for, and results obtained from, our contribution to a thermal-cavity benchmark test. Our solutions were obtained on graded rectangular grids for two different time-discretisation schemes by applying a finite-element procedure to the model equations, and a combination of conjugated-gradient (CG) and GMRES solvers to the resulting matrix systems.
