WIAS participates in "Wissen zwischen Büchern" ("Knowledge Between Books") as part of the Berlin Science Week

During Berlin Science Week, Berlin's public libraries—under the headline "Wissen zwischen den Büchern" ("Knowledge Between the Books")—invite the public from November 1-10, 2026, not only to make research understandable and accessible, but above all to create a space for exchange —through formats that allow visitors to ask questions, contribute their thoughts, and join in the discussion.

WIAS contributes with the following activities:

• Kites—Between Geometry, Aerodynamics, and Cultural History
• The C60 Molecule—From Soccer to Architecture to Materials Research.
