The aim of the post is to carry out research in the field of mathematical imaging and applications.  Furthermore, research results will be published in scientific journals, presented at conferences and a dissertation will be written in the above mentioned main topic.

Prerequisite: A scientifically oriented person with an above-average master's/diploma degree in mathematics with a focus on applied mathematics; knowledge in the calculus of variations, optimization with partial differential equations, their numerical solution and mathematical image processing. Furthermore, the holder of the position is willing to cooperate with users and subject-related colleagues.
