Research Assistants (f/m/d)

to be filled as soon as possible. The prerequisites are a diploma or master degree in mathematics (or neighboring fields). The PhD should be completed or very close to completion. The successful candidate will have interest in applied mathematics, in particular in applied analysis, and has profound knowledge in at least two of the following areas: regularity theory for solutions of partial differential equations, functional analysis and operator theory, reaction-diffusion systems. The willingness of interdisciplinary interaction with researchers from natural sciences and engineering as well as of collaboration in the acquisition of third-party funding is expected.

The appointment is limited to 2 years and can be extended. The salary is according to the TvoeD scale.
