For the first time in the history of the MMS Days a science slam had been organized. Science slams are fun competitions in which the participants present their research in a casual, entertaining way. The topics should be MMS related, the talks at most ten minutes long. Contributions can contain poetry, dance, rap, live experiments, etc. - everything to the extent permitted by law. As a matter of course there was a phenomenal prize to win.

The MMS Science Slam took place on April 11, 2024 in the Brauhaus an der Gartenschau with the following, outstanding contributionsn:

• Anja Eggert (FBN Dummerstorf) - Sharing data and code
• Tim Schmidt (IVW Kaiserslautern) - Vincent van Gogh: Painter, Crazy Ginger & Flow Simulation Expert?
• Costanza Manganelli (IHP Frankfurt/Oder) - Yoga and Light
• Max Kaiser (IVW Kaiserslautern) - SMAHCing the Energy Crisis: Model Efficiency to the Rescue!
• Guest Slamer: Sven-Oliver Krumke (RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau) - Partner Issues and Math
