About me
I am a researcher at the Weierstrass Institute in Berlin, where I lead the junior research group "Multi-species Balance Laws", focusing on the mathematical analysis of multi-component diffusion and cross-diffusion systems in a thermodynamics context.
My research interests, in general, are centred around analytical aspects of nonlinear evolution partial differential equations arising in the natural sciences, including underlying structures, geometries, and singular phenomena. Recently, I have also become interested in aspects related to the mathematical modelling of biological processes, see our ongoing project "Emergent structures in embryogenesis".
From 2019-2023 I was a postdoctoral researcher in the PDE group at WIAS led by Professor Alexander Mielke.
I completed my PhD in Mathematics at the University of Warwick in 2019 under the supervision of Professor José L. Rodrigo. Prior to that, I studied Mathematics in Freiburg, where my final thesis was supervised by Professor Dr. E. Kuwert.
