Jim Pitman: Collected and Selected Works 

ABSTRACT

I will review recent efforts at developing online versions of traditional collected and selected works volumes, especially

• Springer Selected Works in Probability and Statistics
• Celebratio Mathematica

and suggest how such efforts might be expanded as part of WDML development. A major task in preparing a collected works volume is the assembly and adequate display of a comprehensive bibliography of a single author, including some organization by topics and a complete list of coauthors. The BibJSON format and BibServer software developed for this purpose has potential for broader application to structure, exchange and display bibliographic data associated with WDML in accordance with the Principles of Open Bibliographic Data promoted by the Open Knowledge Foundation.
