Travel information:

Metro tickets:

Tickets can be purchased from vendor machines located in every metro station. For participants expecting to use public transport on more than ten occasions in total, we would recommend purchasing a weekly ticket ("7-Tage-Karte"); if not, then we recommend buying single tickets ("Einzelfahrscheine") unless at least three trips are made on any one day, in which case a daily travelcard ("Tageskarte") is the cheaper option for that day.
The standard fare for Berlin is zone Berlin AB. All tickets have to be stamped before first use!

Timetables & Maps:

The BVG has a map of all "S-Bahn" (city train) and "U-Bahn" (subway) lines.

Street maps can be viewed by address at the Stadtplandienst.

Timetables can be viewed online using BVG fahrinfo-online.
