Workshop: Mathematical models for biological multi-scale systems

We see the workshop as a great opportunity to discuss applied and theoretical questions in the field of mathematical biology. All participants are invited to attend a discussion on Wednesdays, which is planned for after the closing of the workshop.

From our point of view, issues of complex viscoelastic biomechanical materials, discrete and continuous descriptions and especially the spatial and temporal scale transitions are in the focus. In this discussion, we want to identify interesting topics for interdisciplinary projects between mathematics, biology, and related fields.

We invite all participants to an open and energetic discussion. Here we are also looking for topics on which conference participants can also imagine perspective research questions. These topics can emerge from questions during the lectures or also in the discussion during the coffee breaks and should be discussed again after the last lecture on Wednesday.

We are looking forward to many exciting topics and energetic discussions!
