numcxx + vtkfig
We develop numcxx, a small C++/python library for testing and homework. It works together with vtkfig.

All versions prior to 0.12 contain a bug in the umfpack interface, so please consider replacing them

UNIX Pool installation
On the UNIX Pool, the code is installed in /net/wir/. The source is in /net/wir/numcxx
All example files can be compiled on the unix pool using numcxx-build.
Virtual Machine
- Install VirtualBox on your system (available for Linux, Windows, Mac)
- Download the virtual machine from debian-numcxx-v01.ova (Attention: 2.5GB!)
- Import it into VirtualBox and start
- You will be booted right into a running session as user ‘unknown’ with password ‘numcxx’
- CodeBlocks, g++, gedit, numcxx, vtk, vtkfig are installed.
- numcxx and vtkfig updates can performed from bitbucket repo, see corresponding README on the desktop
- Data transfer with your computer through shared folders or ssh login. Problems with drag&drop, unfortunately
