Research Assistant Position

in the Research Group

Stochastic Algorithms and Nonparametric Statistics

(Head: Prof. Dr. Vladimir Spokoiny) within the framework of the ERC Project GPSART (Head: Prof. Dr. Peter Friz) starting at the earliest possible date.

Applicants are expected to have a university degree (PhD preferred) and an intimate knowledge of one of the following topics

  • stochastic analysis (including Malliavin calculus)
  • numerics of stochastic systems
  • knowledge of statistical software (for instance, R).

The initial appointment is limited for two years. The work schedule is 39 hours per week, and the salary is according to the German TVoeD scale.
