Iris Runge Postdoctoral Program
General Information
This initative is part of the Iris Runge Program at WIAS. It is aimed at early-stage female postdocs, a maximum of 3 years after completing their doctorate with an excellent PhD thesis in one the scientific fields of work at WIAS. If the degree was obtained a longer time ago, an application is not excluded, however the candidate has to explain why she is to be associated with the first postdoctoral phase. Periods of maternity and parental leave or times of caring for relatives are taken into account.
Successful applicants receive a two plus one year contract remunerated according to TVÖD-E13 in one of WIAS' research groups, allowing them to pursue their scientific career in a vibrant international research environment.
Requirements:
- an excellent PhD thesis in one of the scientific fields of work at WIAS
- a motivation letter naming two research groups at WIAS where the applicant would like to work and why
- applicants have to arrange two recommendation letters to be sent directly to WIAS
