Some mathematical results for a model of thermally-induced phase transformations in shape-memory materials

We present a 3D model for thermal stress-induced transformations in shape-memory materials. The problem is formulated within the framework of rate-independent processes. We assume that the temperature is prescribed. An existence result is obtained as well as temporal regularity in the case of uniform convexity. We prove also the convergence of space-time discretizations associated to this problem.
