In this talk, I will present an overview of recent experiments involving the propagation of ultrashort pulses in multimode nonlinear optical fibers. Novel phenomena ranging from plasma generation and filamentation, spiral rainbow emission, multiphoton absorption induced luminescence and walk-off soliton propagation, will be discussed.
