Dynamical regimes in an externally pumped two-color downconversion-based delayed laser

We consider, experimentally and theoretically, modelocking regimes of a laser source based on a doubly resonant cavity and downconversion in a crystal pumped with an external pulsed source. The cavity roundtrip provides a huge delay line in a system. We consider the complex dynamics of resulting pulses, which appear as we vary the cavity dispersion and the pump characteristics. Some of the regimes contain two-color modelocked pulse generation. We discuss the applicability to the frequency combs and terahertz generation applications.
