Session on MMS for condensed matter physics and material science
The session focuses on all theoretical aspects of condensed matter physics and material science: mathematical modeling, computational methods, software and simulation. The intended fields cover in particular solid state physics, computational physics, physical chemistry, smart and functional materials, functional surfaces and thin films, nanostructures, quantum materials but also photonics, device physics, opto-electronics, electro-chemistry, photochemical processes and soft matter physics.
Contributions by researchers who just want to start with modeling and simulation or who are newcomers are also appreciated for the discussion of their specific research problem, requirements or challenges.
