Investigation of hybrid mode-locked semiconductor lasers

Hybrid mode-locking in semiconductor lasers is investigated theoretically. Theoretical model is based on the set of 3 delay differential equations. Dependence of the hybrid mode-locking range on the modulation frequency and modulation shape is investigated numerically. Reasons for possible locking range asymmetry are discussed.
