Invariant surfaces of variable stability

It is well?known that processes of various nature exhibit extreme differences in the rates of variables. For modeling of such processes the singularly perturbed systems of the ordinary differential equations are conventionally employed. The slow invariant surfaces of variable stability of the singularly perturbed systems and their applications to the analysis of optical, chemical and biological problems are considered.
